Begin Here: Do not begin by reading The Promise Of The Resurrected Word study books.
This page is a map of suggestions for order of readings for visitors to www.thebrokenchurch.com. Though people are truly free in Christ to do as they wish, God is also not a God of chaos. And people who visit this site will be of all kinds of levels. And in all cases, we will most definitely need the help of the Holy Spirit in order to make any advancements at all in this material: we are a lot more immature than we currently understand, truly being babes in the grand scheme of things. Yet, even the most well read students of God must rethink what they thought they understood [suggested reading example might be (John 3:1-12)].
In all cases, it must be understood that God holds all power in His hand; no one is able to get around His power, to circumnavigate His plan. No matter how determined you might be, and/or what level of intelligence you bring to the table, if He does not help you with the understanding, then most all of this work will remain beyond your meaningful comprehension; instead it will be gibberish. But, once God comes to our help, what formerly made little or no sense at all will suddenly make all the sense in the world:
John 14:26
26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. NKJV™
This is God’s choice of how He wishes us to come to Him this day; we must do it His way, when He wants, or we will not be blessed. This is His show, to His glory, honor, and justification.
- So, begin by turning to the page called "Invitation Instructions," coupled with the pages "Invitation Cutsheet.," and the "Invitation." [the pages "Dead End Road" and "Dead End Road Cut", in the category "Read Other Studies," also work the same way]. Freely search through the various short topics, designed to introduce and encourage readers to this day we all must face.
- When ready, having understood the basic premise of this day of invitation, then turn to the study page called "New Vow Study," along with it’s companion page, "New Vow Cutsheet."
Don ‘t attempt to study the study books without this vow fully understood, and in place; the Holy Spirit may not help you if you attempt to go around this plan of God’s. - As a peronal request for help, I ask that all readers who spot mistakes in the writing, please email mr.bill with the corrections, at mr.bill@thebrokenchurch.com May the Lord bless all those pure of heart, seeking Him; your servant, mr.bill
